As part of the Policy Research Center’s mission of equipping Indian Country with the best available knowledge to make proactive decisions, the PRC serves as a clearinghouse of data and research for tribal leaders, advocates, scholars, and the public.

The Center provides an electronic data and clearinghouse portal on its website. This portal serves as a resource for tribal leaders in preparing testimony or writing grants, researchers searching for existing work related to tribes, and decision-makers at all levels of government and business seeking data to understand issues in Indian Country.

We also work closely with the U.S. Census Bureau to serve as a Census Information Center (CIC) . As a CIC, the Center makes Census information and related data more accessible to tribal communities. We also work to analyze and present data in ways that are easier to understand and use for planning and decision-making at the tribal level.
